Tropical Banana Soft Serve – Utah Ice Cream Machines

Cool little recipe that they could have run through a soft-serve machine. I would like to see it frozen though

Apparently you take all this tropical fruit and put it in the blender. It will make a smoothy, but then you can just put it into your ice cream machine hopper. I am wondering how this would turn out. We have a machine downstairs. I am going to go to the store and get this stuff and try it!
I think there are plenty of people out there who have ice cream machines in Utah that might be willing to try something different. That’s what is wrong with the frozen desert industry… Every yogurt shop you go to in the valley is the same. They even have the same flavors.
Whatever… anyway, here is the recipe. Oh yeah, and thanks to Trans Planted for posting this ( will link to the page below)
1 cup fresh chunks of pineapple
1 cup fresh chunks of dragon fruit (about half a dragon fruit)
2-3 cups sliced frozen bananas
Take your bananas out of the freezer and let them sit on the counter for about 10 minutes to soften a bit. In a food processor or blender, blend together the chunks of pineapple with the chunks of dragon fruit. Add the slices of bananas and blend until there are no chunks, the result will be a thick fruit mixture that is ready to eat! If you prefer your soft serve to be a bit thicker, simply place in the freezer to thicken, stirring occasionally until desired consistency.
